I'm a playwright in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. I've had seven full-length scripts produced (most recently in Montana in August) and have had four staged readings of other scripts in New York, most recently in February.
I’ve also had productions of shorter scripts around the world, quite literally (most recently in South Korea in December, Great Britain and Massachusetts in May and Australia coming up this summer – this winter to them).
I'm curious: Do you accept script submissions? If so, I have several scripts that would be very suitable for a community theatre -- mostly comedies, but also a Christmas show or two, and some that would be appropriate for youth productions. All those are available directly from me.
I would also call your attention to one script which has been published -- FAIRWEATHER FRIENDS, a Victorian comedy, which is available through the publisher, Eldridge Plays and Musicals at www.histage.com.
